Academy for children and young people

At the Kids’ Academy, exhibitions, workshops, seminars and events focus on promoting children’s creative skills and strengthening their personality development. The Kids’ Academy is designed to be a competence center that supports the needs of kids, parents and teachers in preparing for the demands of the future.

Do you like to draw and paint?

Do you like to learn something new?

Are you interested in art?

The art museum is an ideal place to discover a wide variety of works of art and design them yourself. Under the direction of the experienced artist-educators Karin and Bernhard Antoni, the creativity and personality development of our children and young people will take place.

As part of the painting academy, young people can experiment with materials and techniques and give them free rein. At the end of the course, the works will be shown in a joint exhibition in the museum’s gallery.

The painting academy for the school year 2021/22 began on October 1, 2021 in the ateliers of the Kunstmuseum Schrems, Mühlgasse 7a. There are 10 course dates per semester, each on a Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
