Complete works & the Warlamis collection
The Kunstmuseum Waldviertel shows in various presentations, thematic contexts, in confrontations with other artists or artist groups, a wide range of interesting positions in the field of painting, sculpture, architecture and design.
The museum uses the extensive artistic oeuvre of Heide and Makis Warlamis as a basis, as well as the collection of sculptures and objects by national and international contemporary artists.
Collection maintenance – archiving and digitization of the works Since 2008, in addition to ongoing artistic work, exhibition and research activities and educational work, the Waldviertel Art Museum has been dealing regularly, on a voluntary basis, with the digitization and archiving of the works of the two artists Prof. Makis (Efthymios) Warlamis (1942- 2016) and Prof. mag. Art. Heide Warlamis.

Contemporary international ceramics and plastic from 1980 to 1990 The Waldviertel Art Museum also has a rare collection of contemporary art international ceramics and sculpture from the years 1980 to 1990, which was taken over into the art museum from the activities of the Austrian Gallery for Ceramics, headed by Prof. Heide Warlamis.
This collection includes rare work pieces by artists from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, England, Denmark, Japan and the USA.
Archiving deals with the digitization of works based on old and new photos, exhibitions, texts, explanations and publications
